I had to use my ice scraper on my windshield today. :( I miss California. Damn you prejudiced-interview-asshole at uc davis, damn you!!! While I'm at it, damn all of those other prejudiced-asshole-california medschools too! *shakes fist*
I hate Biochem and cell biology. All of these fuckin cheaters have masters degrees and shit in biology or psychobio or biochemistry. It's so not fair. Me, I took one biochem class at friggin San Jose State (go spartans!) and that helped for all of 3 lectures and then we were past what we'd learned in one whole semester. I still can't believe how little material we got through in that class. Hubert knows what I'm talking about, he's still learning to pipette in week 12.
Ever since anatomy began these bio freaks have all been waiting patiently for this day of reckoning. If we ever have a software engineering elective, I swear I will show all of their asses. I guess it probably doesn't help that i took a two week sabbatical from studying.
I was supposed to study all day today but our football team miraculously didn't get blown out in the first half and so naturally I had to tune in to listen to us overcome retarded coaching and still pull out a victory. 1-9 baby! I almost stormed the parking lot, but decided it was too cold.
I also had to tune in to listen to Robin "The Beast" Lopez pull put up 14 points, 15 rebounds and a school record SIX blocks in 20 minutes in his first college game. And he has a more highly touted identical twin (injured)! Looks like my tuesday and saturday afternoons are gonna be booked with my ear to the radio.

I attended an interest group talk on Friday and I've decided I most definitely want to be a cardiologist. Truthfully, it was probably one of the most boring, irrelevant talks I've ever heard. I kept thinking this is definitely one field I do not want to get into. But then right before the talk breaks up someone asked him how much cardiologist fellows make. In private practice, he says, 400k starting. But according to him, the fellows he knows would feel they weren't doing "well" unless they're pulling in 600k-1million/year. Well, shit... where do I sign up?
I could go to med school for 4 years, do residency for 7 or 8 years, work for 5 years and then I could retire.
But I suppose I have to pass metabolism first... dammit.
